In August 2008 Dumfries and Galloway College openedits doors to the first learners of the 2008/2009 session.
At the start of this academic year, the College opened the doors of its brand new, state-of-the-art campus at the Crichton estate in Dumfries.
Developed in just over 12 months from a green field site to a finished College this is the culmination of a five-year process, from conception to completion. The development means that the Crichton campus will become the first facility in Scotland where further and higher education students share the same facilities and is now the most modern College campus in Scotland.
